What DipMapper does with your data

DipMapper.com helps you find places to swim. It uses your browser location only after you grant permission, or the destination text you type. DipMapper does not create accounts and does not store your precise location on a DipMapper server.

Local storage

Your privacy choice, recent searches and interface preferences are stored on your own device using local storage. This data never leaves your browser and is not used for tracking.

Third-party services

To show maps, weather, photos, routing and nearby places, your coordinates or destination text may be sent to OpenStreetMap and the Overpass API (map data), Open-Meteo (weather), Wikimedia Commons and Wikidata (photos and place information), and OSRM / FOSSGIS (driving times).

Advertising (Google AdSense)

DipMapper.com uses Google AdSense to display advertising.
